The theoretical knowledge examinations for PPL(A) and PPL(H) are available in English and Romanian. The examination language must be selected by the candidate in portal.caa.ro. The language selected initially will be maintained throughout the entire examination.
Theoretical examination sittings 2025
Starting October 2024, theoretical examinations for CITA (flight information air traffic controllers), aeronautical information personnel, cabin crew members, flight operations dispatchers, flight engineers, IRC, JAR-FCL 1/2 national licence pilots, technical aeronautical personnel and technical Part 66 personnel will be computer-based through the integrated examination software for the management of theoretical examinations of civil aviation personnel.
Computer-based theoretical examinations will be held exclusively at the AACR headquarters, in accordance with the annual theoretical examination schedule approved by AACR.
