“Airspace Infringements” are civil aviation events which occur when an aircraft enters in controlled airspace without authorization or without seeking authorization from the air traffic unit or enter the controlled airspace without complying with the instructions contained in the authorization granted by the air traffic unit. Considering the fact that in the period between 2016 and 2020 the “Airspace Infringements” type events involving operators of Romanian registered aircraft had an increasing trend, and in the period of January-September, 2021, 17 such events have already occurred, Romanian Civil Aviation Authority issued the Operational Notice NO-0005/14.12.2021, in order to come to the aid of the air operators carrying out general aviation operations.
