The winter operational command of the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority (AACR) is active for the period November 1, 2016 - March 31, 2017. The two dispatchers, one at AACR headquarters, the other at ROMATSA headquarters, operate non-stop, "24/24", ensuring information on the state of the infrastructure of the national airports and the meteorological conditions on them.

 

Currently, the winter commands set up at each airport in Romania operate in complete devices, having provided the stocks of liquids needed to defrost the aircraft, as well as the equipment and machinery necessary to make the runways available in the event of weather events specific to this time of year.
