Starting with 9.04.2018, the dismissal of seafarers, glider pilots and balloon pilots will be carried out in accordance with EU Regulation 1178/2011 and EU Regulation 290/2012 with subsequent amendments.
Starting with April 8, 2018, all licenses issued in Romania according to the national regulation RACR-PPBL, which are valid, are considered to be fully compliant with the equivalent licenses in EU Regulation no. 1178/2011.
The replacement of valid licenses will be carried out with the revalidation of the first qualification in the license held.
