Air Traffic Controlers

The ATC licensing regulation and procedures refer to the system of issuing and renewing of documents that authorize the ATC personnel to provide air traffic services in Romania.The ATC licensing is one of the methods that Romanian CAA uses to maintain the safety of the air space, ensuring that all ATC personnel is properly authorized.RAC-LCTA contains provisions pertaining licensing of ATC.The application forms must be submitted to the Romanian CAA, by the service provider, with at least 25 days before the examination.

The applicant must filled in only the first page of the application forms

The second page of the application form contains the appropriate disciplines for the type of exams, i.e. first issue or  renewal.
Minimum conditions (depending on the specific license):

    * age: 18 - 20 years
    * experience: specific training course approved by Romanian CAA and 3 months practical experience in a ATS unit
    * medical: class III
