APPLICABLE LAW
The reference legal provisions that allow the interested person access to information of public interest are the following:
Universal Declaration of Human Rights - art.19 ;
Romanian Constitution - art. 31;
Law no. 544/2001 on free access to information of public interest, with subsequent amendments and completions
Government Decision no. 478/2016 for the amendment and completion of the Methodological Norms for the application of Law no. 544/2001 on free access to information of public interest, approved by Government Decision no. 123/2002;
Law no. 677/2001 on the protection of personal data and the free movement of such data;
Law no. 182/2002 on the protection of classified information;
Ordinance no. 27/2002 regarding the regulation of petition solving.
